The Beech Tree Guest House is conveniently situated within St. Austell, being just a 2 minute walk from the Train/Bus Stations and Town centre, so is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful county of Cornwall, from superb beaches to rugged cliff top scenery, tropical gardens and quaint fishing villages.

Within a short distance of St. Austell, can be found the historic port of Charlestown, with it's Tall ships and maritime museum, the working fishing village of Mevagissey, with its narrow streets and picturesque houses, the 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' and the world renowned 'Eden Project' just a 10 minute drive away and a 'must see' for any visitor. The nearby beaches of Par, Carlyon Bay, Porthpean and Pentewen Sands afford clean beaches and safe swimming.

Also within easy striking distance is the Cathedral town of Truro - famous for its Georgian architecture and fine shopping, the beautiful Fal estuary (as described in 'Daphne du Maurier's' book 'Frenchman's Creek'), the waterfront village of St. Mawes and historic towns of Fowey, Looe and Polperro. Walkers can enjoy nearby coastal walks or, explore the rugged terrain of Bodmin Moor - designated an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' (who knows you may even catch a glimpse of the 'Beast of Bodmin').

All our rooms are fully en suite, centrally heated and furnished to a high standard with pine furniture and quality soft furnishings. We offer guests the choice of either twin or double rooms, (sole use available at a supplement). Being on one level, The Beech Tree also lends its self to those, who may have mobility problems, or may find stairs difficult.

	Breakfast is served in the Spode Dining room and consists of either a Full English or Continental option and a selection of Teas, Coffee, Fresh Fruit Juices and Greek yogurt with honey. A vegetarian option is also available.

Click on the picture for enlarged view	The picture on the left is of a typical en-suite bathroom and includes shower, hand washbasin and toilet. Each en-suite bathroom is fully tiled, but colour coordinated to suit each bedroom and of ample proportions so you don't have to squeeze in.
